As a kid, I always loved art. I loved to draw, paint, sculp, and doodle. In fact, I did more doodling than note taking and I was one of the first kids in my class to learn digital art and animation. But  acting had always been my passion. And when I first started out, I thought all I needed was my resume, headshot, demos, and my talent. Surely that was enough.

Oh, but how wrong I was. Soon, I discovered that the marketing side of being an actor was just as important as the craft itself.

In 2016 I realized the old way of hoping that “if we build it, they will come” didn’t cut it. In this industry, you also have to pitch yourself and be your own advocate with materials that reflect your personality, tell your story, and show what you bring to the table. That meant one‑sheets, resumes, EPKs, and cohesive branding. I struggled at first, spending hours trying to design my own marketing materials until I learned how much color psychology, typography, and consistency truly matter. (Yes, I geeked out on brand archetypes, font pairings, and the emotional weight of color).

Once I understood the power of branding and marketing, my career took off. And that’s how I developed Actor One‑Sheets. I realized that if I could merge my acting experience and my love of art, I could help other actors skip the frustration and instead show up confidently, visibly, and authentically.
